- A few years ago, I got involved with a state professional organization (I’m a speech-language pathologist, or SLP) and realized how important state government is. State laws impact my daily work far more than federal ones, yet few pay attention unless it makes national news.

- I just deleted X and Facebook from my mobile devices. I never used X and rarely used Twitter when it was a thing. I can still access Facebook online if I need to. But do I need to?

- I am the least inconsistent social media user. But now that TikTok is gone, and I only use Facebook to keep up with births, deaths, weddings, and divorces, I guess I will jump on the bandwagon.
