- I've only had a few Tree-lichen Beauty's previously in Ashurst, New Forest, so the one this morning was nice to see. Also Plumed Fanfoot but that was disturbed by another moth just as I was about to take the picture #teammoth

- Dingy Mocha is a Red Data Book & Biodiversity Action Plan specialty of Hants/Dorset: when I caught my first one since starting trapping 1990 in the garden in Ashurst, New Forest in April I thought it was just a wanderer, but a second one today encourages me that it is now established here #teammoth

- No genuine migrants in Ashurst, New Forest today but a couple of my favourite micros: Pseudopostega crepusculella is a tiny white moth with amazing eye caps, while Parachronistis albiceps is a beautiful 'pied piper' Gelechid (but it flew off before a decent photo!) Year list up to 313. #teammoth

- Cosmopterix orichalcia is not the easiest moth to photograph as it runs so fast! These were the best I could do before it escaped behind the radiator... My second in Ashurst, New Forest, after one in 2010. A real beauty! #teammoth
