But grants fund salaries for students, academics, researchers, and people who work in all areas of public service. “Pausing” grants means people don’t eat.

- 🎉 Today we said farewell to our lab's first undergraduate researcher, Eric Mao. Eric has been working closely with Troy over the past three years and has been an absolutely stellar lab member. He is med school bound next year. Congrats Eric! We will miss you! 🎉
