- First day of (teaching) in Year 14 at Purdue! One step closer to emeritus! Good start to the day, I bench pressed more than Tom Brady can (his best was 245, I did 250 today)! Not sure if it will help my teaching, but at least I can do something athletically that the GOAT has not done.

- If Georgia beat Alabama, the football playoff would be Georgia, Michigan, Washington, & FSU. No getting around a top 4 of undefeated conference champions. CFP committee wanted an SEC team in there & couldn’t justify Alabama over Texas, so they put both in over undefeated FSU. It was about money…
- …it should have been Michigan, Washington, FSU, and Texas.
