- Today's #BookElves2025 theme is funny books. Here are some of my favourites from this year and also one of my all time favourite Irish children's books, The Summer I Robbed a Bank by David O'Doherty, illustrated by Chris Judge (age 9+), which is funny, wise and moving - such a great read!

- Today's #BookElves2025 theme is Irish fiction. One by Sarah Crossan is an outstanding verse novel for teens, beautifully crafted and compelling. It's about conjoined twins and it captures their hopes and fears perfectly. HIghly recommended for age 14+. #DiscoverIrishKidsBooks
