I'll explain, but first, let's acknowledge the adorable participants, 12 dogs who were trained at home to retrieve two objects.

- I never felt good enough to be an academic. How could I balance being a mum and short-term jobs, fighting for papers. I chose family. I would 100% have left academia, but I got a temp job at Sheffield Hallam and saw women bossing it whilst working part time It's hard to be what you can't see.
