Cameron Mackereth
Scientist (🇨🇦) lucky to have a great group of researchers (🇨🇵) using big magnets for atomic-level insight on proteins & RNA, IDPs and DNA structures. INSERM scientist (French National Institute of Health and Medical Research) located at Univ. Bordeaux.
- Our structure determination of a dopamine-binding DNA aptamer yielded surprising results. The structure had only 2 Watson-Crick base pairs, but lots of base pairs normally only seen in RNA folds. Check out our crazy DNA structure in the recent bioRxiv preprint, along with other binding details.

- It's been great working with the groups of @mazna.bsky.social and Davide Mercadante on this project. And already looking forward to the next experiments on eIF4B
- First night at the yearly conference in the Swiss Alps after a lively poster session. The scenery is as pretty as always, and the snow this year looks great!
