Liver cancer, with a 7% relative survival rate in the 1990s rose to 22% Lung cancer- 15% to 28% Myeloma- 32% to 62% This is in part due to early detection & better treatment. 🧪 www.cancer.org/research/acs...

- Surgery isn’t usually offered for stage 4 #lungcancer. Steve, diagnosed w stage 4 ALK+ in 2020, believed it could help prevent resistance. After targeted therapy shrank his tumour, he fought for surgery & got it. Read his story + our patient info: oncogeneresearch.org/surgery #LCSM
