TL; DR: Birds, cats, plants, politics. Seattleite sick of Seattle process. I flit between topics like a hummingbird, but hyper-focus like a corvid. Photography, gardening, podcasts. Mom of a tween, eng partner, keeper of two cats, a dog, fish. Obv ADHD.
- Worth the watch, with sound. This is my hometown-ish (FW/Seattle/Des Moines split but went through Federal Way schools).
- Contrarian NYT trend piece incoming about how fascism is still an underground scene. Get on board before it's mainstream!

- Very cool! When will you be dropping Tree Action Seattle, @seattleparksfoundation.org ? They're trying to block upzoning, block an SDOT Safe Routes to School project, and blatantly lying about the age of trees in a Maple Leaf neighborhood. How do these comport with SPF's purported mission?
- And *this* is why we call the tactics of groups like Tree Action Seattle "Trumpy." They're closely aligned but the "environmentalist" NIMBYs will never admit it.

- To settle @michaelhobbes.bsky.social and @notalawyer.bsky.social's debate over how to pronounce "Nuzzi": I propose the compromise "Nutsy." It's fitting and still respects her Italian heritage.

- A little levity, sponsored by Airbnb.
- Realized I never added the SDOT project page after being pointed to it. I didn't find it originally bc TAS claims this project is part of the N. 130th St. project & is primarily aesthetic, but *actually* it's a Safe Routes to School/neighborhood sidewalk project: www.seattle.gov/transportati...
- Seriously? They're literally opposing pedestrian improvements now? "Four foot wide sidewalks are fine along an arterial, actually." Fuck TAS. As a reminder, they receive tax-exempt donations via their partnership with @seattleparksfoundation.org . www.treeactionseattle.org/campaigns/fi...
