- the guy who financed a propaganda film about the nazi first lady is killing a newspaper that writes unfavorably about her and her husband. this is how the club works.

- Meta changing IG and Facebook to the point they are awful for artists and then offering a way out if you pay shouldn't surprise anyone. They are trash.

- Really nuts how many men were like "Me Too went too far, and I need to email Jeffrey Epstein about it."
- This Homan presser is completely incoherent. He started by announcing a drawdown of 700 agents (good!) but then pivoted to whining about "rhetoric" (bad) and suggested there will be more bloodshed if it doesn't stop (grim). Not clear to me that anything is actually changing on the ground here in MN.
- 😕
- Really! I have seen more pictures of 47 with Epstein than with his family. Wtf

- Genuinely did not occur to me that there was such a thing as Epstein merch
- it’s genuinely reassuring to me that this is the most miserable and paranoid person in the entire world

- I'm impressed at how logistically, Sabrina Carpenter is like the perfect height to host the Muppets

- This is how Sen. Ron Wyden clues the public into activity that he finds extremely alarming. He does a press release about a letter he sent to the director of the CIA that basically says, 'I want to make sure you saw the classified letter I sent early today.' www.wyden.senate.gov/imo/media/do...

- I canceled my Washington Post subscription after Bezos axed the Kamala Harris endorsement. Not because of Harris, but because it was a watershed moment that showed us the WaPo had gone from being a public trust to Bezos' personal instrument. Everything since then has confirmed as much.
- Over 30 people, that we know of, from the Epstein files, are in the Trump administration! Where is the outrage?
- But Bezos had $75 million to spend on Melania’s vanity project.
- Elon Musk's net worth just hit $800 billion. How? One of his corporations acquired another one of his corporations. Meanwhile, Elon's companies pay next to nothing in federal income taxes and get billions of dollars in government contracts. This is what I mean when I say the system is rigged.
- Dunno if you saw the video but this 40-something F-150 skinhead got his shit catastrophically rocked by a bunch of teenagers

- as a journalist, the gutting of wapo makes me anxious; as an american, it makes me terrified
- Excellent news.
- If you're thinking about Washington Post, "well, to hell with them, they did it to themselves," then count yourself on the side of management. Because, no, labor didn't do this to themselves, didn't grind the paper down, yank it right, & rip out its spine. That's capital. Now we'll all suffer.
- Call me crazy but I think Jeffrey Epstein was murdered to keep him silent.
- If Jeff Bezos could afford to spend $75 million on the Melania movie & $500 million for a yacht to sail off to his $55 million wedding to give his wife a $5 million ring, please don't tell me he needed to fire one-third of the Washington Post staff. Democracy dies in oligarchy.
- Increasingly appreciate being on one of the last types of social media that allows us to share our terrible opinions WITHOUT also being constantly bombarded by people you don't even know trying to influence you to buy stuff sent to them by companies that neither you nor they need
- I just keep watching it disappear. Our free press. Our right to assembly. Our freedom of speech. Our right to due process. Our right to free and fair elections. Our protections from illegal search and seizure. Our private data. Our warrantless entry protections. All of it disappearing.

- Your tax dollars at work, America. FBI agents working around the clock trying to prove Trump won Georgia in 2020 instead of investigating wealthy fraudsters and con artists because they don't get prosecuted anymore since Trump took office.
- The guy that just had his goons seize ballots from the 2020 elections is asking us to get on to something else. Hmm... how about no?? www.salon.com/2026/02/03/g...

- We've had evidence since Krasnov's first term that he's a Putin asset. How much more evidence do we need?
- “Since those documents you saw outlining allegations of terrible people committing awful crimes against children does not involve me, the country needs to move on and stop talking about those crimes”

- Haitians are in America legally, having Temporary Protected Status. Their only crime is being black, which is enough for Trump to want to deport them all.
- Wow: This appears to be a draft statement written by Ghislaine Maxwell in which she addresses allegations made against her and Prince Andrew by Virginia Giuffre. Maxwell appears to confirm that the photo is real and admits that Epstein committed crimes—contradicting her sworn testimony.
