Making art where the point is the experience of creation, and not the end product, is the goal. If you can change where you're making your art (outside! The library!), even better. If you can do art you're less skilled in, best.
A lot of folk I know do pottery for this.

Time is always the rub :/ I have a kind of crazy work schedule myself, and it also uses creative energy. Finding ways to refill that cup and still make things is. Rough. 🙃
It really is, I started doing more night shifts and then they rotate them, there's basically no schedule. I draw at any free time I get, but I just feel so burnt out and exhausted and don't really have an option of pausing either 🥲
