Crews are adding a new access pit and 5 more pumps (13 total) to safely divert flow and remove the rocks, estimated to take 4-6 weeks for system to be ready. - Crews are responding to an 8-inch water main break at 410 M St SE between 3rd and 5th. Water is shut off on the north side of the block while repairs are underway. About 100 homes and a large apartment building are impacted. Estimated repair time is 8–10 hours. #DCWater
- Crews and MPD are on site supporting traffic and safety. The break caused a hole in the sidewalk, and sand is being placed due to icy conditions. We’ll share updates as work continues. #DCWater
