- Seeing an empty buffer and a full bike lane of snow is like a Looney Tuned gag where paramedics ignore the victim after rushing out with the stretcher.
- People work hard to at least get us this far and I thank them. But in Boston the overall response for walking and biking has been poor. A week out, so many intersections impassible. I’ve seen one bike lane plowed on my routes. Very disappointing from this admin, who has flipped hard on biking. 🤷♂️

- Thank you, @ridebluebikes.bsky.social for digging out and keeping bikeshare accessible! All stations in Cambridge have been dug out and any remaining stations in the region should be cleared today. Sidewalks and paths leading to stations could still be difficult, so please be careful!
- Thank you to the stellar @cambridgemass.bsky.social DPW for keeping everyone moving! Streets and bike lanes are pretty clear in Cambridge, with lingering snow piles at corners to be cleared in time. Remember to go slow, be forgiving, and look out for another!

- If you’re able, clear a bus stop. Our T operators keep us running and they’re very appreciative. Plus it’s a great way to connect with and inspire your neighbors.

- Reposted by Nick SchmidtAlmost half the Waymos on California streets are driving around empty. They're either waiting for the next customer or en route for a pickup. If robotaxis scale, anything close to that level of deadheading would create crushing gridlock. www.thedriverlessdigest.com/p/what-cpuc-...

- Had a pretty frustrating experience. What started out as a polite conversation with a contractor blocking a bike lane turned to swearing and name calling (not by me). He was right next to ample, available loading space.
- @ridebluebikes.bsky.social donates $1 to the Ellie Fund for every “pink bike” ride taken
- New mast arms and signal equipment up (but dormant, for now) at #CarlBarronPlaza while work continues @cambridgemass.bsky.social
- North Washington Street Bridge, connecting Charlestown and Downtown Boston, is complete. Congratulations @streets.boston.gov and @massdot.bsky.social!
- Vassar Street (Cambridge, MA) separated bike lanes striped and signed. Green markings and more flexposts coming soon.

- It’s a “driver” when the victim is property. It’s a “car” when the victim is someone walking, biking, or just existing.
- What happens when there’s not enough space for accessible sidewalks? Make a shared street. Here’s Fairmont Ave in Cambridge, MA. Former sidewalks become landscaping and everyone shares the flush street at very slow speeds. Special surface treatment tells you something is different.
- Main Street (Cambridge, MA) separated bike lanes striped with flexposts. Green and remaining markings coming soon.

- Heads up! We temporarily moved the #MIT at Mass Ave / Amherst St #Bluebikes station half a block north—next to the big crosswalk at the Rogers Building—during sidewalk construction. It’ll go back in a few weeks. Did you know this is the busiest station in the whole system? @ridebluebikes.bsky.social
- It’s wild. We go through all this process to try and secure federal funding when this could be paid for with state money right now.
- Sidewalks poured at Carlo Barron Plaza! 🤩
