- You used to be able to do a lot of character work through smoking. Brand, how they light, how they hold, how they put them out. Fancy case, soft or hard pack, bought or roll-up, filter or no. Class, background. But like Victorian language of flowers, most readers won't recognise it is a language.
- A reminder that if you are a Real Person* on here you absolutely SHOULD NOT start a DM chain just by saying "hello" or "hi". I know you think you're being polite, but anyone with a decent number of followers is going to block you instantly as it's what the bots do. *(Not that any of you are real)

- My paternal grandfather went to the USA, got a job, brought his wife over, had a daughter, saved up, then moved back to Sweden and bought a farm. My mother went to the USA, worked as a maid, then secretary, took evening classes in makeup/hairdressing, then was ordered by her parents to move back.
