As someone who wants to pursue character design, I like taking requests from friends to make designs—its good practice—but when it comes down to whether or not the character is “attractive” or not makes me upset.

I get it, an attractive character is nice, but where’s the fun in that? In all honesty, its gets boring trying to make an oc that is likeable based off appearances

I believe characters should be likable through action and personality, not solely off looks. I wanna make characters that are weird and unique: characters that have their own charm through the wackiness of them
