I've read two books in a row that have included scenes of young women falling in love with the poetry of Richard Crashaw. This kind of thing happens to me far more often than you'd expect. Anyway, the books are HILDA LESSWAYS by Arnold Bennett and AS IF BY MAGIC by Angus Wilson.
