- As Starmer & the rest of the hypocrites & perpetrators mark this Holocaust Memorial Day......
- [Not loaded yet]
- The US are committing genocide in Gaza with the full support of many Americans so why would you expect them to respect human rights at home?
- [Not loaded yet]
- And stop the genocide in Palestine
- [Not loaded yet]
- And the best of it is, it won't be coming from the anti-genocide pro-human rights protestors
- [Not loaded yet]
- But he wasn't bothered when they were helping commit genocide in Gaza?
- [Not loaded yet]
- But no such statement re genocide in Gaza. Selective morality.
- And fools believe them when they say they're going to war with Iran to save the protestors 🤣
- Accreditation of new Iranian ambassador postponed yet Dana Erlich was invited to FF functions as Israel committed genocide. Taoiseach favours new sanctions on Iran but zilch sanctions imposed on Israel while munitions for genocide flow through Shannon. Western values! #speirgorm
- Hard to believe Starmer was ever a human rights lawyer. The hunger strikers in Long Kesh got better treatment from Margaret Thatcher.

- He used a word in the context of football. Would it have been offensive if he'd used the word catastrophe? Would he have been forced to issue a public apology?
- [Not loaded yet]
- If you had any understanding you'd realise that the catastrophe is the literal meaning of the term Nakba, which refers to the genocide & ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in 1948. Nobody objects to use of the word catastrophe in other contexts. Nor should they.
- [Not loaded yet]
- A feast or a famine doesn't refer to an actual famine. If you say someone is a legend or awesome do you mean it literally? Does calling someone babe mean they are an actual baby? Would it have been OK if he'd said it was a catastrophe?
- [Not loaded yet]
- Didn't say it was because of Palestine Action. I said that was an eg.
- [Not loaded yet]
- Carelessly throwing around words - utter bollox. Are you telling me you've never used the phrase a feast or a famine for fear of upsetting or traumatising the Irish?
- [Not loaded yet]
- First came suppression of the slogan from the river to the sea, then came suppression of I support palestine action & now you are castigated & forced to issue a public apology for using the word holocaust. Insidious & intentional.
- [Not loaded yet]
- Seriously - why do you think he needed to be careful there?
- [Not loaded yet]
- The word holocaust isn't reserved for the Shoah. It wasn't specifically coined to describe it. It was in use beforehand & will be for years & we all exaggerate or is that not allowed now either?
- [Not loaded yet]
- People exaggerate all the time - big deal. Is exaggeration now antisemitic too?
- So what if he called it a holocaust. It's a word. It can be used to describe many things. A holocaust is obvs v different to the holocaust.

- A people are being exterminated & you are trying to police language against the war criminals 🤮🤮🤮🤮
- [Not loaded yet]
- Genocide in Palestine was the start of trashing international law for precisely these reasons.
- JUST IN: Trump says the U.S. has captured Maduro and his wife and flown them out of the country.
- [Not loaded yet]
- Been dead since the genocide & ethnic cleansing began in Palestine. Anybody with an iota of sense knew it wouldn't stop there & ofc it's coming home to roost in the US too.
- Evil beyond belief
- MSM will probably call this testing the ceasefire
- Derry tomorrow evening.
- [Not loaded yet]
- Such utter drivel. And from a country that is daily using its full military might to kill civilians in Palestine, Lebanon & Syria.

- What have age groups to do with it? Do you think they favour poor/ordinary old people over all young people? Do you think young rich people will be conscripted/do national service?
