- Reposted by ARP BooksMark Carney is right to say that the old order is not coming back. But where his remarks fall short is in their insistence on answering the crises of our time through the lens of neoliberalism—an ideology that has, for decades, hollowed out the very sovereignty he now claims to defend.
- Reposted by ARP BooksCanadians who oppose Washington’s barefaced imperial violence in Venezuela—and Ottawa’s complicity in it—must mobilize and raise our voices for change. As Owen Schalk writes, it is our responsibility to the hemisphere, and to the planet, on which we live.

- On the heels of the federal government's jaw-dropping new war budget, we are eager to announce the March 2026 publication of Owen Schalk's latest book, Canada and NATO: The Myth of a Global Peacekeeper
- Building from the backdrop of global tensions and wars, including conflicts that have been stoked and intensified by the US and its allies, global military spending has reached record levels ($2.44 trillion in 2024), driven mostly by the same players: the US-driven NATO alliance.
- A founding member of NATO, Canada has contributed to this global militarization by increasing its military spending massively since the end of the Cold War, and capitulating to US pressure to commit an unprecedented proportion of its own GDP to militarization and war.

- Bebías Into Qndaa Ke: Queer Indigenous Knowledge for Land and Community, eds. Kleo P. Skavinski & Sydney Rae Krill is a collection of queer Northern Indigenous writing, collapsing boundaries between queer Indigenous selfhood & land practices, as countering destructive colonial & capitalist forces
- From the editors' introduction: "As centuries of European settlement and colonization took place on these lands, many queer Indigenous teachings and practices that existed outside of the colonial gender binary were forced underground or abandoned by individuals and communities.”
- “This was a matter of survival for our queer Indigenous kin. This collection of writing emerges as a vital source of knowledge amidst these attempts at erasure, offering us a glimpse into the fluid, Indigenous worlds that settler colonialism could not stamp out."
