- Led a great primary source workshop with students today, most of whom have not interacted with Arabic works, but I got them to look at the 'squiggles' on the page and talk about formatting and genre even before we began to translate/analyze. Such a fun thing to realize you can play with any text.

- I genuinely believe the most important thing that happened in film in 2025 was this Ryan Coogler PSA about the different ways to experience SINNERS in theaters. His enthusiasm and knowledge regarding aspect rations and formats were infectious, making the very act of seeing his movie seem thrilling.
