- I'm studying old images of Godzilla (for reasons) and found this gem of a film I didn't know about - Invasion of Astro-Monster! Godzilla and Rodan are captured by flying saucers from Planet X, and taken back there to battle King Ghidorah (a three headed dragon) (1965) Now to find a copy...
- Also, how cute is Son of Godzilla, Minilla? #blep
- Takes me back to my first exposure to Godzilla, a kids cartoon that showed on Saturday mornings in the '80s in which there was also godzilla's nephew Godzooky. He probably got into comedy japes, but as with so many '80s cartoons, I mostly just remember the theme tune.
- Today's writing sees our heroes mopping up the blood and shit left by someone else's drama. I didn't plan that as a metaphor for anything, but the more I look at it, the more I think it should be.
- Just finished “All that is in the Earth” by @aknighton.bsky.social. What a superb book. Great story. Having grappled with grief over the last couple of years it was a refreshing look at life and death. Thoroughly enjoyed it. #BookSky

- Today's writing includes the start of the story I spent yesterday planning - a disfunctional team of cleaners doing Die Hard on a spaceship, with support from a sentient slime mould. This is going to be fun.
