- 4 February 1891 | A Dutch Jew, Mozes Olivier, was born in Amsterdam. He was a merchant. In September 1942 he was deported to #Auschwitz with his wife Betje and their two daughters, Anna and Jeannette. They were all murdered in a gas chamber.

- 4 February 1943 | A special train no. Da15 with 952 Jews from Berlin arrived at #Auschwitz. SS doctors sent 181 men & 106 women to the camp. The remaining 665 people were murdered in a gas chamber.

- 4 February 1925 | A French Jewish woman, Ginette Kolinka (née Cherkasky), was born in Paris. She was deported to #Auschwitz from Drancy in April 1944. She was transferred to Bergen-Belsen and then to #Theresienstadt. She survived. Today she turns 101.
- 4 February 1941 | French Jewish girl, Pauline Pelcman, was born in Paris. She was deported to #Auschwitz from Drancy on 10 February 1944. She was murdered in a gas chamber after arrival selection with her older brother Maurice.

- 1 February 1941 | A transport of 593 Poles deported by the Germans from Pawiak prison in #Warsaw arrived at #Auschwitz. Among them was Tadeusz Tański - designer of the 1st Polish serially-built car, CWS T-1. He was registered as no. 9455. He perished in the camp on 23 March 1941.
- 1 February 1928 | A Polish girl, Maria Matlak, was born in Łodygowice. In #Auschwitz from 2 April 1943. No. 39847 She was transferred to the camp for Polish minors in Litzmannstadt. She was liberated there on 19 January 1945.
- 31 January 1940 | French Jewish girl of Polish origin, Evelyne Chwiedziuk, was born in Paris. She was deported to #Auschwitz from Drancy on 20 January 1944. She was murdered in a gas chamber after the arrival selection.
- 31 January 1933 | An Italian Jewish boy, Mario Calò, was born in Rome. He arrived at #Auschwitz on 23 October 1943 in a transport of 1,035 Jews deported from Rome. He was among 839 people murdered after selection in gas chambers.

- 29 December 1923 | Hungarian Jewish woman Lily Ebert was born in Bonyhád. In July 1944 she was deported to #Auschwitz. She was then transferred to an ammunition factory near Leipzig where she was liberated. She passed away in October 2024, at the age of 100.
