At some point the democrats became republicans in everything except name. I'd hardly classify being against genocide, increased drilling, increasing funding for police and ICE, and against normalizing war criminals, is any sort of purity test. More like basic human decency.

Letting fascism take over because you're trying to be them doesn't seem like a strategy that has worked for dems.
