- Best part of this was this afternoon when I took the books down but left up the signs and the empty book easels (cos I have a new display going up) and one kid thought I was making a statement with my BANNED MIDDLE GRADE FICTION signs and a clearly empty display.

- Doing a banned books project with part of our 6th grade. Very angry children asking me WHY certain things are banned places. "Every reason for banning a book is bad! All of them! It's all ridiculous!" - me, all day yesterday and today.

- Had a sub literally say "stop talking" at me this morning to which i responded "ok but I can't help you then." It's not even 10 minutes into first period yet and I'm DONE.

- Our 8th graders are currently studying WWI. They've started asking their teachers if we're going to have WWIII. And if it will be soon.
- Got a substitute in for the librarian today. She is of very questionable usefulness. Sigh.

- Went 1-1-1 at the Lorwyn Eclipsed prerelease today. I really like the vibe at prereleases. 2 headed giant tomorrow, too. And now I have many more packs to open, yay!
