- Just when you thought you couldn’t love Hank and John Green any more.
- 3 yo son was in swim lessons - him, another 3 yo, and the teacher. Teacher was working with other child with back to my son. I looked over and saw my son soundlessly bobbing in the water, unable to get his head above water. I yelled, and husband jumped in water fully clothed to get to him. (1/2)

- 2 of my parents’ doctors actively discouraged them from from the Covid shot last fall. 😩 Used sciencey language, showed (bad or misinterpreted) research. My parents got their shots in fall anyway, but the doubt has creeped in, and I can only hope they continue to get their Covid shots.

- My To Do list for today contains the entry “Howl,” and I have no idea what that was supposed to mean. I’m down for it, though. Sounds cathartic.
- My elderly parents have been without power since 3am Saturday because of the ice storm in the Southern US. They’re warm and set up with plenty of food - bored but fine. My mother’s hair stylist, who she sees weekly, tracked me down on Facebook tonight to make sure they’re ok. Community matters.
