Wrexham's Member of Parliament has expressed his support for a campaign to legally protect the title "nurse". The Nurse (Use of Title) Bill, a Private Members' Bill introduced under the Ten Minute Rule by Dawn Butler, Labour MP for Brent East, aims to ensure that only those registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a registered nurse can use the title when working in health and social care.
