- HMRC are giving 1 million people a £100 penalty for filing their tax returns late, even if they don't owe ANY tax. Nadhim Zahawi dodged £3m in tax and repeatedly lied about it for 6 years. All HMRC did was make him pay the interest on it. Hard on you, a joke for them.

- By-election latest: A Green Party source tells me the response in Gorton today has been so positive that they're reallocating resources to Denton. They claim ex-Labour voters say they can't vote for the party with Starmer as leader, so tactical voting doesn't come into it.
