Brazilian botanist Terezinha Rego was born 93 years ago today. She devoted her career to the study of endangered rain forest plants that carried medicinal properties, and founded a 10,800 species herbarium at UFMA, where she taught in the 1980s. #WomenInSTEM #Botany #PlantSky 🧪⚕️🌱
