But that's literally what Will is doing. Both "violent" and non violent tactics are needed in movements like this. If he doesn't want to participate in the more rowdy actions, then he shouldn't, but he should shut the fuck up and not interfere.
There appears to be a widespread category error being made, where people who regard themselves as being in a decades-long ongoing war with the government seem to think Minnesotans have now joined the war and should fall in beside (or perhaps behind) them. But that’s not how most of US see it.
Minnesotans are trying to protect their neighbors and city, and are choosing their tactics in order to do so. We aren’t all troops in some larger war. We’re not the left’s reinforcements. We’re defending our own people.
