- Can we stop saying "happy International Women's Rights Day #IWD2025" please 🥲 There's nothing joyful about having less rights than men. Yes we can celebrate the rights our ancestors and elders fought for and won, but it's not mother's day for all girlies.

- Also, I know barely anyone read my post here but, from April I will have some availabilities for freelance work, so please don't hesitate to reach out if you need support with any of the following:
- One thing about me is that I hate cars and so I hate driving. But I'm learning because you have to when you live in a car-centred country. Well, then... Explain to me why there are no driving test available in my area until 2027 🫠🫠🫠
- Also it is happening in France too (not as bad, but still) and people are not in the street tearing shit up either 🥲

- Apparently this week is #MossAppreciationWeek and while I know nothing, scientifically, about moss, I love them dearly. I often refear to moss as "tiny forests on a branch or a rock" and I love to imagine the lifes in their ecosystems. Anyway, here are some pictures of moss I have taken recently:
- Also, came across this and thought it might be useful: It’s about how we share resources, build solidarity outside of capitalism, and how we could do it more intentionally. Feels especially relevant right now with all the funding cuts! www.shareable.net #CollectiveCare #Degrowth #MutualAid
- I've just remembered that an organisation I applied to work with (centering Black disabled folks) were ableist to me during their recruitment process, I let them know, and they never got back to me. Oh well. This is disappointing.

- One thing I like about Paris is that you can't just open any shop/business you like. To register the business you need to apply to the council and they will tell you if for example: - the space is currently a bakery and must remain one - the street needs a bakery so the space must be use for that

- During the fighting, in which M23 took control of Goma, human rights groups and media have reported over 2000 killings, rapes, looting, forced labor and forced recruitment. All my thoughts and prayers for Congo to be free.

- It's not too late (maybe a bit) if you still have a budget in your EDI/Liberation budget and want to invite me to talk about abolition, collective care, the charity industrial complex or nature and the outdoors for #LGBTQHistoryMonth
- Sorry I'm on a roll today but seeing fundraising comms based on "we've been supporting people for the past 50 years so they don't die, give us money so we can do it for another 50 years" Is so gross. I don't want you to do this for another 50 years. I actually want you to no longer be needed.
- I don't necessarily think putting solar panels on fields is the best idea since they still pollute, and by permanently shading the soil undernearth, they damage the ecosystems around them. HOWEVER, I've seen many people panicking "what about the foood currently grown there?!?" and sorry to say but
- (Neo-)Liberalism in the UK taught people they can't act together as a collective. That we must always need a "strong leader" to do anything.
- I don't want it to be a dig but when I see a woman quitting her job because she struggle to balance work and parenting at the same time, I hear that her employer is not supporting their staff so they can have an healthy balance.
- I also want to write about how being autistic and ADHD with PDA (personal drive for autonomy, previously known as pathological demand avoidance) and rejection sensitivity disorder is HARD to do collective work. But I don't want to write it as a "here's my lived-experience 🎻" piece so we'll see lol
- I still need to write my article about how charities cannot liberate us, and how the sector’s carceral and punitive approach harms both staff and communities.
- Also, unrelated to my previous post but when we say that liberalism is just the other side of fascism: we have now all witness the normalization/justification of a Nazi salute by the media, rather than the correct response we should have when we see a Nazi.
- Went to see the David Hockney show last night at Factory International with a friend and I was sceptical at first, but it was actually really good! I recommend it!
- It's been 15 days since the cyclone in Mayotte. My family are ok but I still haven't heard back from one of my best friends who lives there. Aid has still not arrived everywhere, there's still not water & electricity everywhere, but some* are being prioritised & evacuated. Necropolitics in action
- Last month, on behalf of GM Systems Changers, we attented 'Working Towards an Ustopia': A Community Tech Justice Practice Lab hosted by Promising Trouble. Not only did we meet the most incredible people, I also bothered everyone about #degrowth ⤵️ www.promisingtrouble.net/blog/2024-12...
