It's insane that we still have people trying to argue that Aigis's concept is dumb and her existence doesn't fit the world of Persona 3 at all, that take is so fucking braindead and it's disgusting that people think this is somehow a valid opinion
let's see:
-This world has teenagers shooting themselves in the head to summon demons
-A blue room that exists in the back of the protag's mind with a long nosed gremlin thing
-A tower that rises from the ground in an hidden hour when everyone is turned into coffins
Tell me what is so unbelievable about A robot specifically designed to fight shadows?.
Jan 12, 2026 12:35In fact it's more believable that Aigis exists!, why would the Kirijo group risk limited human lives (considering how rare persona users are) traversing Tartarus when they can engineer artificial persona users and make alternative weapons/robots specifically to combat them?
The more i think about it the more I realize how skewed and selective your suspension of disbelief has to be to have this kind of take.
This reminds me of people arguing that Yu-Gi-Oh 5d's Jumped the shark because it introduced CARD GAMES ON MOTORCYCLES completely ignoring how the previous series had the protagonist committing mass murder using the power of a card game.
I believe people that think this way must consider Aigis's existence has still some root in reality and not fantastical enough that they refuse to let go of their threshold for fiction enough for them to accept her existence so that it seems ridiculous.
