- Something that has really helped me this semester with typing research papers is using keyboard shortcuts for academic writing and APA formatting instead of trying to visually locate icons/menus in Microsoft Word. - I use alt text and/or image descriptions to provide context or clarification about what is in an image. Since I have low vision and double vision, it can be really challenging to figure out what I am looking at or spot relevant details, especially if they are hidden or low contrast.

- I’m thankful for tools like reading mode and simplified reading displays that show large print on a solid-colored background— it helps a lot with reading online content! Also grateful for eReaders and their adjustable font sizes, these devices were life-changing for me as a student with low vision
