- In the Chinese version, Yi Jiang says 好好活下 which you would interpret as live a long, healthy, good life. It’s the kind of thing a grandmother says to you on her deathbed. - Playing Chinese characters in media for me is also just fulfilling on a whole other level, like knowing the exact feeling of biting into a hot 叉烧包, walking through the markets with your family, it’s all such a familiar and truly lovely experience to share with an audience too!
- My culture and background have always been a huge part of my life, having spent half my life in Singapore and half my life in Australia. I even got accepted into my art degree through 山水画! Here are some of the paintings I submitted for my application lol
- I hope I get to play more Chinese characters who actually use the language and such soon! In the mean time, I’m working on a huge piece soon that I might sell as a print if people are interested!
