(1/4) With the recent Adobe Animate news, I'm beginning to write down a plan for a Live Streamed Blender's Grease Pencil Workshop, I'll be going over the key aspects of GP for general Animation, but I won't touch the topics of Nodes as I don't use them, and they're more a Compositor's department.
Feb 3, 2026 02:00(2/4) I don't have a set date yet, but I'll see doing it sometime soon, just need a good idea at the best time for people. I will also upload the workshop onto youtube and try to chapter mark it and caption it.
I am also planning to actively take questions when suitable.
(3/4) I hope that this will help people to know what Grease Pencil can do, and how much of a rival it can be to Toon Boom Harmony alone, and the amount of bloody potential it has, as well as the freedoms it has with being open source.
(4/4) Also if there are any things people want me to have more of a focus on, I'll try to accommodate where I can, I hope this can help everyone currently looking for a new animation program.
