- I commend County Executive Ball & local leaders in Howard Co for working to block ICE's attempt to set up another detention facility in Maryland. We saw the inhumanity of ICE's operation in Baltimore & Marylanders have made clear: we do not want these facilities in our state.
- Believe your own eyes. Nothing about this is normal. Trump and his goon squad are trying to undermine a fundamental principle of our democracy: free and fair elections.
- Last week, I told Secretary Rubio that he was part of the most corrupt Admin in American history. They are selling American security, prosperity, & innovation to enrich the Trump family & his billionaire buddies. They must be held accountable for this blatant grift.
- Foreign countries are bribing our president to sell out the American people. Trump family businesses made $187 MILLION from this deal, and just months later he gave the UAE some of our most top-secret AI tech. They are selling our national security to the highest bidder.
- My position has been clear and is unchanged: I will not vote for one more dime to fund Trump's lawless DHS. I voted NO.
- Important update: a federal judge has ruled that Russ Vought & OMB were breaking the law & must tell the public exactly how they are spending (or not spending) funds appropriated by Congress. I wrote this law years ago to ensure transparency and accountability.
