- I've been posting a lot less over here cause I've just been here less. I've been mostly avoiding political news for my mental health recently, cause basically all of it makes me more depressed and angry. It's been refreshing not knowing all the horrors of the world. Not that they're not important.
- So, I hate Citizen Kane. Absolute dogshit movie, I'll eventually make a video about it. Roger Ebert called Citizen Kane the best movie ever, and called "Dude, Where's My Car" the worst movie he ever saw. I just finished watching Dude, Where's My Car. It's pretty good.
- It has a pretty blatant transphobic scene (2000's movies really loved those 😭) but outside of that, it was a pretty enjoyable movie. It's not the best movie I've ever seen, but I enjoyed it way more than Citizen Kane.
- Always remember: just cause something is loved critically doesn't mean it's good, and just cause something is panned critically doesn't mean it's bad. Some people just have different tastes, or a different expectation of what they want from their media.
