- I can't pay those fees. I also am very limited in my ability to pick up takeout. So I only get takeout when I'm already out there at a medical appointment. And I only get delivery from Restaurants that do their own delivery (and that usually adds at least $10 to the fee, but not $30!!)

- Thread. Shitty people can make good and even great art. Likewise, dropping a favorite artist after you realize you can no longer support them can feel like a divorce or a friend breakup because they and their work were just that important to you. That shit hurts, even when it's necessary for you.

- When I downsized I got rid of all my Gaiman books, but agonized over Good Omens (autographed by both authors). I finally decided to keep it due to Sir Terry outweighing the bad. Getting rid of the Gaiman books was a pang, but ameliorated by the knowledge I could never read them again.

- I have a friend who is legally blind. When she moved to Florida she gleefully told me she'd failed the vision part of the driver's test. Yay? But WHY TAKE IT IN THE FIRST PLACE? For shits and giggles AFAICT. But glad to know Florida has some atandards.
