- Congratulations to Aoife, and we are looking forward to working with Aoife in her new role.
- Aoife has served as Research Data Coordinator at UCC Library since 2018. Since taking up the role, she has established the Library’s Research Data Service, which supports the adoption of Open and FAIR data practices through training, consultation, and policy development.
- She holds a PhD in Plant Science and previously worked as a Data Quality Officer with the National Cancer Registry. Aoife is widely recognised for her leadership in Open Research, serving as project lead of the Sonraí Irish Data Stewardship Network and Chair of the CONUL Research Group.
