- Has anyone found yarn that costs about $10 or less to make the crochet version of the melt the ice hat pattern? I read from the creator on IG that it requires superwash merino worsted wool but the ones I find available are too expensive for this unemployed gal. payhip.com/b/Kvzab

- The reason for the specific yarn was so the ribbing would be stretchy enough to fit a head. Else you have to modify the pattern and I’m not that talented yet with hats.
