- Dunno if the NYT says this, but the "Canadian company" is a huge property and advertising empire which also owns the biggest supermarket chain in BC, so they could have said "sod off", but they (unlike Trump's administration) know how bloodyminded Canadians can be.

- I was taught that 90 minutes was the ideal time as it's about as long as you can expect most people to sit without a toilet break, it's long enough to tell a decent story, and short enough to fit multiple screenings in one evening.
