- i want to try painting something that pushes the limits of my abilities again. there's something daunting about discovering the extent of your skill but i remember feeling at peace with my work for several months afterwards when i last tried

- it does feel like there's still a lot of misconceptions about genAI on the artists' side too 🤔 particularly on the japanese side i've been seeing people talk about watermarks a lot lately... which are useful regardless just not against AI

- all that to say that whether or not my work will be used in genAI development doesn't have that much control over what platform i end up using more lol. i will go where my friends end up being 👍 and also i don't like el*n m*sk so(
- frankly im not too optimistic about where genAI is going in terms of what it means for artists, there's only so much even something like glaze and nightshade can ultimately do to protect our work and our standing imo
