- As a result of recklessly removing this important data from the hands of forecasters worldwide, thousands of people will likely die. Among those at risk include the poorest & richest nations, U.S. military personnel & their families, and tens of millions all around Atlantic.
- Forecasts will be less accurate. People must understand that forecasts will not be as accurate going forward due to this and other reasons related to actions taken by the Trump administration. For the safety of you & your family, you may have to evacuate more frequently due to greater uncertainty.
- Expect the unexpected. You, your friends, your family, & hundreds of millions globally will be less safe and prone to storms unexpectedly strengthening prior to landfall. That includes U.S. military bases worldwide where troops are stationed. The very agency shutting it off, will also impact itself.
- For what reason would Trump administration shut off access to this vital weather data from existing satellites? To destroy the National Weather Service & NOAA? To ensure their forecasts aren't as good so the administration can destroy the agency & call for its privatization to appease rich donors?
