- Lots of posts about the deployment by federal agents of tear gas & flash-bangs at large, peaceful anti-ICE demos in Portland, OR. Would not take much for Trump’s paramilitaries to turn into his Republican Guard Corps. Maybe he’s talking to Iran for advice? @aphclarkson.bsky.social
- As a person who grew up in SW Portland (not terribly far from this facility), getting tear gassed by feds was not a fear I had as a child. Horrifying that there are now kids in PDX who can’t say the same. And imagine how much worse it is for children *in* ICE custody. www.koin.com/news/oregon/...
