- Today is Transit Equity Day. It is celebrated annually on Rosa Park’s birthday to honor her life and work as a civil rights activist. Her legacy is woven into the fabric of transit equity for all and remains key to our work, this day and every day.

- A huge thank you to all of our volunteers for all of their work. You helped make our city a better place and we're so grateful to be able to do that with you.
- In total, twenty-nine people worked together to shovel nine bus stops, and build three benches.
- Transit equity can be as big as fare-free transit or BRT, but it can also be as small as shoveling your neighbor’s sidewalk. It can be riding your bike with friends or choosing to take the bus, even when it’s not the most convenient option.
- This year, in honor of Transit Equity Day and Rosa Parks, Transit Columbus and Strong Towns Columbus volunteers cleared bus stops and sidewalks around the city to provide dignity for riders. We built benches to increase accessibility and enable people to rest safely as they journey around Columbus.
- Dropping some photos from the last TC meeting and after-meeting social time to remind you that our Transit Columbus February Meeting is sneaking up next week on Tuesday, 2/10! Everyone is welcome, no prior knowledge or experience is needed! Agenda to come.
- BRT! BRT! BRT!

- First bench down!
