A paloma with herbal liqueurs, saline, egg white & a smoked glass is an interesting twist on a classic.
Cocktail Recipe:
Smoke the glass
in a shaker without ice, pour:
2 oz blanco tequila
0.25 oz amaro
0.5 oz lime juice
1.5 oz grapefruit juice
2 drops of 20% saline solution
1 oz egg white
dry shake, add ice, shake till cold
remove smoker
strain cocktail
add ice
top with soda
First recipe that made me go Eek.

Feb 4, 2026 15:36I'd have to swap the lime for lemon. I don't like lime. How do you 'smoke a glass.' Do they make rolling papers for that?
Hahahah!! In a seriousness if you don’t have a cocktail smoker, you can just burn some wood chips (or herbs) on a nonflammable surface and turn the glass upside down over it.
