- When I was first starting out with crochet I would do the starting chain with a hook 2 sizes larger than the rest of the project used. It really helped me until I was able to get the hang of loosening my tension. I recommend a larger hook size when you’re first learning!

- Controversial opinion but I love fireworks displays (when done by professionals and lasting less than half an hour). Fills me with joy! What I hate are the one-off random detonations people are setting off from home. It’s so unpredictable! Started here at 6PM and went to 3AM. My dog is petrified.

- Love it! My dog Gizmo has the same coat but in the yellow color. Wish I could get him into boots to protect him from salt but sadly don’t think I’ll ever be able to convince him. He barely tolerates the coat and would prefer to be naked at all times.

- I love spotting random flowers! And I love this hashtag. I click into it whenever I need more flowers in my day. 🌻
- Also, I think this is a marigold. Daffodils have strong thick stems, usually one bud per stem, and thick strap-like leaves. If you zoom in you can see another bud with a thin stem next to this one and see some delicate feathery marigold-type leaves. Either way, it’s a pretty flower. 💛🧡
