- Writing the chapter were Sinax is modified and receives her powes and it's...harder than I anticipated because it deals with themes of violation of bodily autonomy and personal sovereignty. She didn't want this, but she will use it to her advantage. #oc #ocsky #oclore

- I am in one of those "it's the weekend so you must draw and be productive!" moods but nothing is coming out, we're getting slammed with snow, I haven't seen or felt the sunshine in days and I am just tired. I still feel like I'm not "doing enough" though.

- Fun fact about this particular piece: it was done when I was coming out of a terrible flu last year, inspired by a fever dream I had of a creature emerging from this red plain of tissue. I interpreted this as my immune system doing what it does best - trying to kill the things that want to kill me.

- I had to go back and adjust the shape of Sinax's head piece because I realized...there would be no way she could turn her head with the prongs sticking down that low. I still need to adjust this part of her outfit.
