I'm getting closer to finishing my next script. Not sure how the video is going to be received as its a pretty radical departure from my normal writing styles and quite spicy. I might get assassinated by Disney for it.
I just found on KDE plasma I can remap capslock to a hyper button actions as an additional modifier key alongside Shift, Ctrl, and Alt.
My blender key bindings are going to get nutty
So, I've never used Adobe Animate. I honestly thought i died years ago but this hit me like a mandela effect.
What all features were in the software?
I think it would be interesting to make a video to see if Blender would be a perfect free replacement and get people out of the Adobe Ecosystem.
Here's a wip, I wanted to challenge myself with something more stylized and incorporate some painting. Ill be working on the tones some more and add hair probably tomorrow.
When I image search I want to see the image.
When i find the image im searching for and I click on it, I dont want to be taken to a random site where that image is. I dont want to download the image. I want to SEE the image, on my full fucking screen.
Why is that such a pain in the ass?

Here's a sculpt practice of Planes Of The Head by John Asaro.
This took 3 and a half hours. Honestly, I don't know how helpful this was as an exercise anatomy wise. Flattening shapes with blender's sculpt tools are a nightmare, let me tell you.
I've been writing a new script for a video and I've been having a good amount of fun with the idea. It's a departure from my normal tutorial stuff, it's more of a sort of an art challenge for entertainment, and I'm interested to see how this plays out.
I've been throwing myself at a female form study today. For the life of me I can not stop tinkering with the face. I don't know how I feel about it. I've been staring at it for too long I cant tell if it looks decent or not.

As an artist, I feel like I'm trapped In a special sort of tutorial hell. Not so much stuck following tutorials and trying to get better, but I'm stuck making tutorials instead of trying to make art with the skills I've actually learned.
So, i got a few videos in mind.
One is a follow up to the previous one on toon shaders, but I've also wanted to do a video about MicroSlop and using Linux and the other was a video essay about my experience with a game i played recently.
I wanted to branch out into some other content types.
Bro, fuck this fascist fucking presidency! Fuck the corporations that funded it. Fuck the politicians who took the money. Fuck the sycophant who support this shit, and fuck the psychopaths in charge.
I fucking hate this shit!
Here's a teaser of the upcoming video I'm working about toon shaders. I don't know why, but just about every toon shader I see on YouTube simply doesn't work with colored lighting. So, Im gonna talk about it.

Here's the follow up to yesterday's sculpt. I gotta say, I really like blender's workbench render pipeline. It just has a quality that I like about it, I cant quite articulate it. It just looks *Good*

Here's today's sculpt practice. I tried to sculpt with some actual references today. Turned out way better than yesterday's sculpt... it looked like ass in comparison.
Can you guess who this is supposed to be? 🤔
So, something I've been working on is a new toon shader.
A strange thing i've noticed is that a lot of toon shaders straight up dont used colored lighting. Why is that? Anyway. Heres my toon shader with colored lighting.

I'm in the process of making chicken noodle soup. To save money I've gone and used whole chicken...
I have never deboned full chicken.
I have committed sins against God, Man, and OSHA.
Its been about 4 months, I've nearly finished the entire Esperanto Duolingo course.
Not sure where to go from there, I guess I'll start to learn Spanish.
So, has everyone basically moved away from windows at this point?
It was dead quiet the 14th when windows 10 was EOL'd.
Even my mom whose 62 doesn't want to use Microsoft shitty bloat ware and shes only used windows for years
I haven't really been online all that much lately. My PC has been out of commission cause my main monitor borked it. Been doing woodworking again.
I'm building one of those ttrpg game tables with an internally mounted tv. I've been wood carving the legs for a bit and got one of the claws fitted.
So, it's been a hot minute since I said I was working on a video. I've been working a new job and my free time has been fluctuating trying to figure out when I can find time to work on projects in my free time. I've been writing again, and I'm gonna be talking about "How to move to Linux"
Me, having already jumped to Linux:
"No, I don't think I will..."
On a side note, how crazy is it they have to advertise and force people to migrate over to Windows 11?
