- the youths are spoiled with ao3 i remember lj kinkmeme communities and that one massive supernatural fic rec thing that was painstakingly categorized and x-referenced and sorted and tagged and sometimes all you had was a link to an anonymous comment fill for a prompt
- obviously this has nothing on like physical fanzines and usenet groups but there was a ton of fandom content on lj in the 2000s - 2010s and i think much of it might disappear
