- Due to Hickory FC changing leagues, Cruizers FC will replace them as one of 4 automatic qualifiers from NPSL in @opencup.ussoccer.com. Cruizers FC was 8th in priority for automatic qualification, finishing as West Region Finalists last season.
- Congratulations to the New England Patriots on winning the AFC Championship, aka the OTHER Lamar Hunt Trophy.
