I've been encouraged to do infographic summaries of my forecasts. Here are 2 different versions. l would like your honest opinions. Which of these do you prefer, straightforward and easy or futuristic and spacey? Here is a link to my recent forecast if you want a deeper dive:
youtu.be/FOLDm_N6ft8 Nov 22, 2025 21:03Visually i prefer the first one (with colourful icons) - but looking at the second one i have noticed that i was able to process the information better even though the design is bit too 'spacey' imho (makes it appear less credible). Design: 1st, Cognition: 2nd (top down list better than two columns)
Thanks for this input. I have learned I must blend aspects of the two separate versions to improve both. I'll do this again for my next forecast and keep refining!
Space weather needs spacey infographic 😎 both are great though
The spacey one is fun, isnt it?
One on the left is much easier to take in, but use the layout of the right one with the text left aligned
Thanks for the good idea, Ben. Ive learned I need to combine aspects of each into the new iterations. I will present refined versions with my next forecast.
One on the left much cleaner an simpler to read. TY!
Thanks for your thoughts!
From a graphical and legibility perspective, the one on the left is much easier to read.
Thanks for your thoughts!
I like the one on the left. 🙂
Much appreciated Greg!
The one on the right.
Thanks David. I think that one is pretty cool too, but then again, I love the TRON series of films, which it is modeled after.
The one on the left.
You have to include graphics to attract and lure visual people like me.
Or, add more colored space graphics like auroras, Kp, GONG, to the digital spacey.
I apparently got these pics and never shared them. People often scroll past unless there's a visual.
Thanks for your input. I am finding people are split between the two versions. Some prefer the simple clip art approach for readability, while others prefer the futuristic approach because it is compartmentalized.
Straightforward and easy to read please!
Thanks Ian! Lots of people prefer this one too.
Straightforward and easy to read 👍
